1. General conditions

A breach or violation of any of these Terms may result in an immediate termination of your access to the Site and our services.

2. Products and services

We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible on the Site. However, we cannot guarantee that your screen's display of any product colour, texture, or detail will be perfectly accurate. All product descriptions, images, pricing, and availability are subject to change at any time without prior notice.

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any product or service we offer. We also reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.

We do not warrant that the quality of any product purchased or obtained through the Site will meet your expectations, or that any errors on the Site will be corrected. Product images are styled for presentation purposes and may include items that are not included with the product.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices on the Site are displayed in your local currency based on your location. Prices for EU customers are inclusive of applicable VAT. Prices for customers outside the EU may be subject to local import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by your country's government. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the prices shown on the Site. Currency conversions are approximate and the final amount charged may vary slightly depending on your payment provider's exchange rate at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without prior notice. Any pricing errors discovered after an order is placed may result in the cancellation of that order. In such cases, you will be notified and fully refunded.

Payment is processed securely at the time of checkout through our third-party payment processors. We do not store your payment card details. By submitting an order, you confirm that the payment information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method.

4. Orders and fulfillment

When you place an order through the Site, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product(s). We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or product unavailability.

You will receive an email confirmation when your order has been placed. Please note that order confirmation does not signify acceptance of your order. It confirms that we have received it. Acceptance occurs when the product is dispatched and a shipping confirmation is sent to you.

We work with a network of fulfillment and logistics partners to process and ship your orders. Orders are typically processed within 1 to 2 business days, and delivery usually takes 5 to 8 business days depending on your location. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed, and we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. We are not liable for orders that are delayed, lost, or undeliverable due to incorrect address details provided by you.

5. Shipping

We ship worldwide. Standard delivery is free when an order reaches the locally displayed, rounded equivalent of €75. Orders below that threshold are charged €6.99 for standard delivery, converted into the checkout currency.

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days and typically arrive within 5 to 8 business days, depending on your location.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information where available. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking details to become active.

For international orders, please be aware that your package may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by your country's government. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our product prices or shipping costs.

6. Returns and exchanges

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date your order is delivered. To qualify for a return, items must be unused, in their original condition, and in their original packaging. Customers in the European Union also have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day the order is received.

To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@shopalaura.com with your order number within 30 days of delivery. We will review your request and provide return instructions.

Return shipping is free once the return is approved. We will email you a prepaid return label, so sending an eligible item back does not cost you anything.

Personalized or custom-made items cannot be returned unless they are faulty or incorrect. Items marked as non-returnable for hygiene reasons cannot be returned once opened, unless they are faulty or incorrect.

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund to your original method of payment. Please allow up to 10 days for the refund to be processed after we have confirmed receipt of the return. Your bank or payment provider may take an additional 2 to 3 business days to post the refund.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions outlined above, except where a return is required by applicable consumer law.

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the replacement item is not available, we will process a refund to your original payment method.

7. Damaged or defective items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us at hello@shopalaura.com within 7 days of receiving the item. Please include your order number and photographs of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

8. Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@shopalaura.com. We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests, but once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. In that case, you may return the item in accordance with our returns policy outlined above.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, product photography, page layouts, and software) is the property of Alaura or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any content from the Site without our prior written consent. The Alaura name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Alaura. Use of our trademarks without our permission is strictly prohibited.

10. User-submitted content

If you submit any content to the Site (including product reviews, comments, feedback, or any other material), you grant Alaura a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content in any medium and for any purpose, including marketing and promotional use.

You represent that any content you submit is accurate, does not violate the rights of any third party, and does not contain any unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable material. We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion.

11. Accuracy of information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on the Site, including product descriptions, pricing, and availability. However, we do not warrant that the Site content is error-free, complete, or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

12. Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Alaura. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that we are not liable for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any such websites or services.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alaura, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses) arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any products purchased through the Site.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Site or any product exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alaura, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and all products and services offered through the Site are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Site or the server that makes it available is free of viruses or other harmful components.

This disclaimer does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under EU or other applicable law.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

For customers located in the European Union, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. You may bring any dispute before the competent courts of your country of residence in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law.

For customers located outside the European Union, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lyon, France, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable from these Terms and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or notices published on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alaura regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
