5. Relationship with Shopify

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify provides us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify's data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application.

Shopify processes your data on our behalf. When you provide us with personal information as part of a transaction, you consent to our sharing it with Shopify for processing and storage in accordance with their terms of service.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the shop, remember the contents of your cart, and understand how the site is used. You can choose which categories you accept when you first visit, and you can change that choice at any time from the cookie preferences link in the footer. Essential cookies are required for the site and checkout to function and cannot be switched off.

7. Third party websites and links

Our Services may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services that are not operated or controlled by Alaura. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services. Rewards program data

When you use Alaura Rewards, we process cart, product, order, refund, account, and email-event data to calculate reward eligibility, prevent fraud and duplicate issuance, deliver Reward Cards, measure program performance, and respond to support requests. This can include your paid-product subtotal, selected gifts, final tier, return status, reward status, and interactions with reward messages.

We share the minimum necessary data with Shopify and our email service provider, Klaviyo, to operate the program. Private reward codes are not placed in browser analytics events. Marketing reminders are sent only where the required consent or other lawful basis applies, and preference/unsubscribe controls remain available.
